Using just our compact cameras, we focus on the candid moments - the stolen glances, the warm embraces, the little details you might miss while caught up in the whirlwind. We’re not here to replace your photographer or videographer - we’re here to complement them, offering a different lens on the day: real, raw, and completely you.

You’ll receive a gallery of unedited photos and videos within 24 - 48 hours of your event, delivered via Dropbox or Google Drive, plus your edited reels as per your chosen package.

So you can wake up the next day still wrapped in the glow of it all - reliving the moments you never want to forget.

Modern Memoirs is based in Batemans Bay, NSW and is the event content creator arm of Burnt Buttr Media.

We’re always happy to accommodate travel where we can, and in many cases, travel fees can be waived depending on the location.

Some destinations may influence the overall cost, but we’ll always be transparent and fair.

I don’t use an iPhone like every other wedding content creator & here’s why?

- Storage

An iPhone has a fixed amount of storage, and when I’m on site, I capture A LOT of footage. The last thing I want to do is run out of space mid-vows or during your first dance. With my cameras, I can swap SD cards as I go - meaning unlimited storage and total peace of mind.

- Battery Life

I carry multiple fully charged batteries, swapping them out as needed and keeping others charging in the background. That means I never miss a moment because of a flat phone.

- Professional Gear = Professional Value

You’re investing in a professional, and I believe that means using professional tools. Anyone can capture content on their phone, but I alternate between my Sony a6700 and DJI Osmo Pocket for added quality, flexibility, and control.

- The Final Result

When you look at your content, you likely won’t notice the difference between footage from an iPhone and my cameras and that’s the point. It’s formatted (unless otherwise requested) so your footage is ready to edit straight into Reels or post directly to social media. The difference is behind the scenes - in the reliability, quality, and care that goes into every shot.
